MummyPages is Ireland’s no. 1 online channel for mums ( and a leading destination for mums in Great Britain (, which combined have a monthly unique user readership in excess of 3 million. In addition to website visitors, MummyPages strong social media content reaches tens of millions of mums monthly, mostly across Ireland and Britain.

The MummyPages editor will be responsible for conceiving and implementing content generation plans across websites and social platforms. Leading the team by example, the role will require a candidate with great writing skills, a high level of attention to detail and a real sense of the needs and interests of the channel’s core target audience. As a core part of the Sheology team, the MummyPages Editor will identify and execute editorial ideas in line with the strategic and operational needs of the business, finding ways to make content resonate in a way that is consistent with the needs of both users and the business.

The ideal candidate will:

– have a proven track record in writing / content generation for a mum or wider female audience, ideally with formal training in journalism or storytelling
– understand the importance of developing deep, engaging content that works in today’s media environment
– demonstrate an ability to apply creative ideas to content generation and bring ideas to fruition
– have experience leading / coaching a team
– have experience in one or more of the following: video production, TV/radio appearances, social media management

Editorial Internship (Paid)

Sheology Digital, Ireland’s leading digital media publishing house – is looking for talented writers to join its growing team on an intern basis.

The right candidate will be able to spot the stories that get everyone talking; you will prioritise speed and accuracy so that our readers always have the best content at their finger-tips. You’ll also regularly use social-media, and will know the value of great headlines and images, as well as video content that enhances the readers’ experience.

In return, you’ll be given plenty of training alongside an experienced editor, with the possibility of your role being made permanent once the internship concludes.

Full Stack Web Developer

Employee would be responsible for maintaining and developing all Sheology IT platforms, included but not limited to, website(s) development, internal system development, business requirements analysis and general IT maintenance.

Sheology has several high-availability and high-traffic platforms, which are used for creating, publishing and monitoring content for visitors.
There are several systems being used, each with it’s own specifics – Laravel, phpBB, WordPress, and custom frameworks.
Systems are tightly integrated with each other, as well as external APIs, like Facebook Graph, Facebook Ads, DFP, Google Analytics and similar.
We’re looking for a full-stack developer, who would be willing gather experience by using various techniques and systems. Developer should be capable of producing front-end and back-end solutions, while focus would be developing back-end at most.
Developer can be after-college graduate, willing to improve himself in several areas.

Work with IT manager to complete assigned tasks.
Work with PM department to advice and create commercial pages for clients.
Work with Sales to advice in sale process.

Essential Requirements
At least 3 years of PHP web development experience (can be self-starter).
Strong understanding about OOP development.
General understanding of web development architecture.
Have experience with MVC frameworks, based on PHP language.
Have experience with front-end development, using tools like Gulp, SASS, and libraries like Bootstrap, jQuery.
A problem solving aptitude is essential.
General SEO understanding.
Experience in responsive designs and general mobile-first development.
Understanding how high-traffic websites should be developed and produced.
General understanding about MySQL, or SQL in general.
